Welcome to Peaceful Heart Village blog. Peaceful Heart Village has been growing in our minds for over 13 years. We are now becoming a reality. The idea of a village arose from the fact that we have so many varied projects and skills. Wrapping them into one package seemed insurmountable. However, genius does come through when we let it.
As we discussed what we are currently creating in our life and the dreams of our future, it became apparent that we have a whole body/world vision of our life — hence the many varied interests and pursuits we are and have been engaged in together. The genius and simplicity was to just let everyone know what we are doing and what we plan on in the future via a Blog. We discussed the various pieces and how they fit together and the result was a vision of a local community that supports each other — a village of various people and their enterprises. A local community with a variety of skills and expertise that are all required to make the village a reality.
There is much to say and much we want to offer our followers. In the future I look forward to having an actual map of our village. In the mean time I will be satisfied to describe the various areas that currently make up the village and a peek into the future as the village grows in population. There are two inhabitants at this time and several visitors. Let me introduce you.
I am the village wisdom. My role is to provide leadership to the community. I also provide health and healing services and spiritual guidance. You will also see my contributions in the local school-house and community center. My hobbies include gardening, cooking and craft making.
Our other inhabitant is the farmer, Scott. He is on the village council and also provides leadership to the community. I’m trying to get him elected Mayor. We’ll see how that goes later on. Scott has a host of additional skills as well: chiropractor, builder, minister. He is a busy guy but hopefully we can get him in front of the computer occasionally for an update in one or more of these areas.
We are just getting started so please be patient with us as we learn how to blog in addition to all of the other activities we are currently pursuing.
That’s it for this post.
Long days and pleasant nights.
